Highsoft Solutions AS is the company behind Highcharts JS, the JavaScript charting engine, and Highslide JS, the image and media viewer. Highcharts has quickly become one of the industry leaders in standards compatible, JavaScript based charting. In October 2011 we launched Highstock, a charting product targeted at financial visualization. Highstock lets you create stock or general timeline charts in pure JavaScript, including sophisticated navigation options like a small navigator series, preset date ranges, date picker, scrolling and panning.

The company is a limited company succeeding the former Highslide Software, founder Torstein Hønsi's sole proprietorship. These companies have been profitable since the start in 2006, and since Highcharts was released in late 2009, our growth really escalated. During 2012 we quickly grew and now we are 7 employees. We also have 5 external engineers working on technical support. Our offices are located in Vik i Sogn, Norway, a beautiful small town surrounded by mountains and fjords. Many bright ideas have come to us while walking or skiing in the mountains! • Out of the Fortune 100 Global list of the greatest companies in the world, 51 are Highcharts/Highstock licensees and 8 are Highslide licensees.
• By February 2013 we have sold 25,000 software licenses around the world, ranging from $29 Single Website licenses to high-end Highcharts and Highstock Enterprise licenses.
• Since the first release in November 2009, the open Highcharts code base has been downloaded more than 160,000 times.
• The Highcharts JS website receives more than 280,000 visits a month. Each of these visitors spends in average more than 5 minutes on our site.
• During April 2012, 190,379 charts were generated through our Highcharts Exporting service for generating images from online charts.
